As CEO of BSA | The Software Alliance, Victoria has significantly expanded the organization's global influence, establishing it as a leader for enterprise software companies on key issues such as artificial intelligence, privacy, cybersecurity, and digital trade. She initiated the Digital Transformation Network and the Global Data Alliance to enhance BSA’s partnerships with various industry sectors worldwide. Victoria also founded Software.org, a nonprofit that educates policymakers and the public about the software industry's impact and career opportunities. Additionally, she serves on President Biden’s National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee and has held prominent roles with the President’s USTR Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations, the World Economic Forum, and the Council on Foreign Relations. Victoria has testified before the US Congress and the European Parliament over a dozen times and frequently speaks on AI, cybersecurity, and STEM education to various organizations and institutions. Her insights have been featured in major media outlets such as the New York Times, Washington Post, and NPR. Recognized as one of Washingtonian magazine's “Most Influential People” and a “Tech Titan,” she has a distinguished career in public service, including roles as the first White House “IP Czar” and the chief US trade negotiator for intellectual property under the Bush Administration. Victoria holds advanced degrees from the London School of Economics and Georgetown University and serves on the board of Girls Who Code and ChIPs. She also owns the award-winning restaurant Jewel of the South in New Orleans.
